The city of Cluj-Napoca has consolidated its status as “Capital of Sport” hosting high-level sports competitions, among the most diverse and has obtained the title of “European City of Sport 2018” (“European City of Sport 2018”).
Among the advantages of Cluj-Napoca in obtaining this title are: 25 sports facilities , over 100 active sports associations, 5 important sports clubs, teams in national leagues, a Paralympic association, 38 sports practiced at professional or semi-professional level in the city.
